Day 1: Outward journey
There are various ways to make the journey there.
For example, you could make the outward journey on the ferry between Oslo and Kiel. In that case, you’ll spend the night of 23–24 August on the ferry.
If you’d rather not travel by boat, we recommend that you book at least one night’s accommodation near Copenhagen.
Would you like some help with working out If your outward and return journeys involve several stages or alternative routes, we’ll be happy to help you . This service is not included in the price.

Day 2: Arrival at Villa Fregn
Today, after a lovely drive past woods and lakes, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the Baerekracht tour guides and Ellen and Bart, the Flemish owners of the beautiful Villa Fregn.
A cosy hotel with 5 brand-new semi-accessible rooms and 1 fully accessible room.
See accommodation.
Once you’ve checked in, you can set off to explore the local area or enjoy the outdoor hot tub or sauna.
In the evening, you can sit down to the fantastic three-course dinner that Ellen will lovingly prepare for us. The rest of the evening is a chance to enjoy good conversation and relax by the campfire.
Day 3: Fulufjället National Park
Close to the hotel, just across the Swedish border, lies Fulufjället National Park. A beautiful park surrounded by unspoilt, expansive countryside.
Today we’re going to visit this park, starting at the visitor centre, where you can learn about the flora and fauna that live in the park.
After that, we’ll go for a walk to see Njupeskär, Sweden’s highest waterfall.
This excursion is included in the programme.

Day 4: Moose and bear safari – Free day
The area around Villa Fregn is renowned for its wildlife. There are even bears living in the vast forests.
During the moose and bear safari, we set off at sunrise in search of moose and other wildlife, such as red deer and roe deer. And who knows, we might even spot a bear. The trip is undertaken in 4x4 vehicles.
During the trip, you’ll be treated to a cup of coffee or some juice.
Don’t forget to bring your camera!
This excursion is included in the programme.
For the rest of the day, you’re free to go for a walk or go on an excursion in the wider area. You might, for example, consider paying a visit to the reindeer at Idre.
Day 5: Packrafting or a rest day
On Day 5, you can choose between a rest day or a Packraft adventure.
A unique experience which, thanks to our equipment and extra staff, we are also able to make accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Packrafting has been gaining popularity in Belgium for several years now, but the Norwegian countryside adds an extra touch to an introductory packrafting experience.
Packrafts are extremely stable boats that are somewhere between rafts and canoes, and the are the ideal way to explore nature to the full from the water. For this excursion, we provide double boats, which are particularly stable, and the necessary staff to assist with the transfer to the boat.
The excursion is led by an experienced guide and is aimed at thrill-seekers who love the water.
This excursion is not included It is included in the standard programme and can be booked on the spot, subject to a minimum of 4 participants.
Day 6: Bushcraft and fishing
This day is all about living in the great outdoors.
During a bushcraft taster session, we’ll learn how to make a fire ourselves and spend some cosy time together around the fire whilst grilling delicious sausages – and who knows, we might even get to tuck into a catch we’ve caught ourselves.
Simply delicious.
Norwegian life at its best.
This will be a brilliant way to look back on the many adventures we’ve already had the pleasure of experiencing.
This activity is included in the programme.
Day 7: Rest day or quad bike ride
For enthusiasts, we’re offering the chance to go for a ride on a quad bike today.
A truly unique experience.
Get ready for the ride of your life!
This excursion is not included It is included in the standard programme and can be booked on the spot for groups of four or more participants.
If you’d rather take it easy today, that’s no problem! Going for a walk or exploring the area by car is always an option. There are countless places nearby that are well worth a visit.
